What Our Warranty Covers

What Is Not Covered
- Damage from fire, wind, hail, flood, or other natural disasters
- Defects caused by vandalism, theft, or accidents
- Problems due to unauthorized relocation or alterations
- Normal wood behavior such as warping, twisting, or splitting
- Issues related to neglect, improper maintenance, or abuse
- Settling or soil movement causing structural shifts
Detailed Warranty Coverage
Labor and Craftsmanship Warranty
We provide a 10-year labor warranty on the structural elements of your main building. This does not include doors, windows, insulation, or garage doors. If a problem occurs due to installation or craftsmanship, we will correct it at no cost to you. No paperwork is required, and no questions asked.
Materials Warranty
We facilitate all manufacturer warranties for metal, lumber, posts, and trusses. If a material issue is covered by a supplier’s warranty, we will help coordinate the claim process on your behalf.
Lifetime Structural Design Warranty
When engineer-stamped plans are purchased with your project, your building qualifies for a lifetime structural design warranty. We also carry builder’s risk insurance and liability insurance throughout the construction process.
Warranty Claim Process
We want to make the claim process as simple and stress-free as possible.
How to File a Warranty Claim:
Contact our office directly
Submit photos of the issue, or request an inspection
We will confirm if the issue qualifies and complete the repairs if covered
No receipt or paperwork is required to file a claim. The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser listed on the building contract and is not transferable.
Legal and Geographic Notes
- Warranty coverage is valid only within the continental United States
- If a part or material has been discontinued, we will provide the closest available replacement
- The total liability of Graber Custom Structures under any warranty is limited to the original purchase price
- We are not responsible for indirect or incidental damages, including lost profits or damage to personal contents
