Material warranties are offered by manufacturers based on brand as well as grade. GCS specializes in pulling permits for clients if they choose to have GCS pull them. Graber Custom Structures has long standing relationships with municipalities in their service service radius. Graber Custom Structures goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction.

Can I customize the colors of my building?

We offer 22 standard color options for your pole barn’s roof, siding, and trim. Some of these colors are also available in a textured finish, giving you up to 33 total variations to choose from.

1 - How will I receive my invoices?

Graber Custom Structures primarily uses Quickbooks to send out invoices.

2 - What payment methods are accepted by Graber Custom Structures?

Graber Custom Structures does accept ACH (that is our preferred method of payment). We also accept checks, cash, debit cards and all major credit cards.

3 - Is there an additional fee when paying with a credit card?

Yes. When paying with a credit card there is an additional 3% fee that we add to cover the transaction fee that we are charged.

4 - Does Graber Custom Structures offer financing?

7 - Which is cheaper: steel or wood frame buildings?

Typically wood frame buildings are cheaper up to 60 feet wide. 60 feet or wider is when steel frame buildings start to become cheaper than wood frame.

8 - Will Graber Custom Structures do my concrete work?

Yes! Graber Custom Structures now has an in-house concrete crew and offers concrete services both as part of a building project and as a standalone service. Whether you need a full foundation for your new structure or just concrete work on its own, we’ve got you covered.

9 - Does Graber Custom Structures do excavation work?

Yes! Graber Custom Structures DOES push dirt/excavate small building sites/pads and trenches with our in-house excavation crew IF a small skid steer/ mini excavator can handle the project.

For larger-scale excavation projects beyond the capabilities of our equipment, we do require a level building site to begin construction. The customer is welcome to provide their own level construction site or Graber Custom Structures will work alongside our preferred excavator to deliver your dream structure on a level building site!

10 - Does Graber Custom Structures use shingles for roofing?

Yes. Occasionally, depending on the project, Graber Custom Structures does use other materials other than metal, however metal materials is what GCS specializes in.

11 - Does Graber Custom Structures build their pole barn buildings with posts spaced every 8 feet?

Yes! Graber Custom Structures spaces their posts every 8 feet for quality and assurance purposes. GCS takes pride in their quality.

12 - Does Graber Custom Structures do repairs?

Not typically but Graber Custom Structures does consider repairs. However, to ensure the quality and efficiency of their services, smaller jobs are not feasible for their team's time and resources. Repairs can include new roof, new walls etc. GCS 10 year craftsmanship warranty does not apply to any repair work.

13 - Does Graber Custom Structures do remodels?

Graber Custom Structures is not equipped to do remodels but would consider adding on to an existing structure with a new structure that GCS builds. Any project that ties into an existing building is not subject to our industry leading 10 year craftsmanship warranty.

Graber Custom Structures specializes in interior framing on their projects if needed.

15 - Does Graber Custom Structures put cupolas on their buildings?

Yes. Sometimes a customer will request a cupola to be put on top of their roof. There is an added charge for the cupola feature!

16 - Will Graber Custom Structures build my outdoor patio roof?

GCS can build your outdoor roof over your patio to give your outdoor living space the desired comfort you prefer.

Yes. Graber Custom Structures does build numerous machine sheds for municipalities and farmers all across the Midwest.

20 - Does Graber Custom Structures use sub-contractors?

Graber Custom Structures uses sub contractors for certain aspects of the project. The frame builders are typically in-house crew members that have a passion for construction and spend everyday building and working hard to help make the customers dreams come true!

GCS does occasionally work with sub-contractors to frame buildings but they are loyal friends of GCS who take an immense amount of pride in their work and GCS backs up their work with a 10 year craftmanship warranty. GCS does work with subcontractors in conjunction with concrete work, electrical work, plumbing needs, etc.

Graber Custom Structures was founded in 2021 in the small town of Jamesport, Missouri and has grown to be the premier building experts in the Midwest. Previously, before founding Graber Custom Structures, the partners that formed the company had worked in the construction industry for many years, one of them as long as 40 years.

Yes. Graber Custom Structures has locations in Columbia Missouri, Lee's Summit Missouri, Des Moines Iowa, Lawrence Kansas and Jamesport Missouri. While each location can be visited by appointment only, Jamesport is the hub of operations and where the administrative staff is located.

32 - Do I have to pull my permit or will Graber Custom Structures pull my permit for my building?

Either/or! If you prefer to pull your own permit, Graber Custom Structures will come in and build after the needed paperwork is in place.

Or if you prefer to let GCS handle the permits, they charge a fee to take care of it for your peace of mind.

33 - Is there a minimum dollar amount for projects?

Due to a 3-4 man crew and the amount of overhead Graber Custom Structures has, there is some jobs that will need to be evaluated with scheduling demands and proximity to closest crew to determine whether GCS is the right fit for your budget.

But typically, if it's a pole barn or a barndominium, GCS is the company of choice for your next dream building!
